About Wanda F. Moore
Wanda F. Moore is a volunteer CEO with leadership, integrity, and a commitment to help improve the quality of life for those in need, especially women, girls, minorities, and underserved populations.
Wanda is an active member of the University of Arizona (UA) Sarver Heart Advisory Board, chair of UA Women’s Heart Health Education Committee, and chair of the Minority Outreach Committee, aka the Community Coalition for Heart Health Education (CCHHE). Wanda served on the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona Board until 2021 and is a current member of the Franke Honors College Board at the University of Arizona. Wanda was the 2021 recipient of the Greater Tucson Leadership Founders Award ( a Lifetime Achievement Award for Community Service) and the 2023 Frances McClelland Spirit Organizational Award for her community outreach committee work. Under Wanda’s leadership, her outreach committee has given over 650,000 volunteer hours in Tucson & surrounding communities.
An active member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., a sorority of 350,000 college-educated women committed to public service. Wanda is an active member of the local Tucson Alumnae Chapter. She served five years as the Arizona State Coordinator. She has been a Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. member for 35 years with an uncompromising commitment to public service.
