In CFSA’s role as convener, facilitator, collaborator, and educator, we work directly with nonprofits, local government, the business community, and other partners in philanthropy to inspire and enact long-term solutions.

We honor the fundamental value and dignity of all individuals and thus will support nonprofit and faith-based organizations other than those whose primary purpose is to promote animosity, hostility, and malice against persons belonging to a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or ethnicity/national origin which differs from that of the members of the organization. The diversity of our region strengthens us, and we invite you to join CFSA in creating an equitable and vibrant community for us all.

We feel strongly about not starting programs that are not sustainable. We are extremely cautious about not growing too fast, but with the (CFSA) CORE Grant we had the flexibility to use funds where they were needed the most.

— Dr. Marcela Molina, Executive Director, Tucson Girls Chorus

This grant from the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona comes at a critical time for our community of children, families, and educators. It will enable us to re-open our doors and engage in the joy, work, and wonder of childhood.

— Dr. Catherine Nichols, Board Chair, Desert Springs Children's Center

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, we are able to continue giving a hand-up to hardworking families in our community.

— T. VanHook, CEO, Habitat for Humanity Tucson
