Miracle En El Barrio, a Southside tradition, brings Christmas joy to thousands

This December, we’re raising funds for Miracle En El Barrio, a nonprofit whose annual toy giveaway has become a Tucson holiday tradition for more than two decades now.

Miracle En El Barrio operates an annual toy drive that makes sure kids on the Southside receive at least one Christmas present. Find out more founder Steve Nunez has made Miracle happen year after year with the community’s help:

Pat Parris spearheads “The Giving Project – Doing Well, by Doing Good” in partnership with the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona.

The first week of each month Pat presents a new nonprofit organization that is making a positive impact in our community and asks you to consider making a donation. Even $5 or $10 will make a difference for those in need. In addition, the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona is matching the first $500 in donations each month.
