Pat Parris spearheads “The Giving Project – Doing Well, by Doing Good” in partnership with the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona.

The first week of each month Pat presents a new nonprofit organization that is making a positive impact in our community and asks you to consider making a donation. Even $5 or $10 will make a difference for those in need. In addition, the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona is matching the first $500 in donations each month. If you cannot give, you can still support our nonprofit community by sharing information about the project.

Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona helping families in need

This January, the KGUN 9 Giving Project looks at the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona responds to the root causes of hunger, and seeks to restore dignity, health, opportunity and hope to people living in poverty. Their mission is to ensure our communities are healthy and hunger-free today, tomorrow, and always.
