ABOUT:      Pima Alliance for Animal Welfare, an initiative of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, has partnered with Pima Council on Aging, Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest, Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona, and Cody’s friends to provide supplemental home-delivered pet food to those receiving home-delivered meals in our community.

Many people who have pets and receive home-delivered meals share the food from their meal with their pet simply because they do not have the means to buy proper pet food. By delivering supplemental pet food, these organizations hope that both the owner and the pet will be able to get the nutrition they need to live longer and healthier lives together.

These programs would not be possible without the generous support of the Bonnie Kay Fund held at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona and Meals on Wheels America.
