Inaugural Policy Project Grant Recipients Announced

The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, with the generous support of The Melody S. Robidoux Fund, announces three awardees of the inaugural grant round of The Policy Project:

The Policy Project is a unique funding opportunity that provides nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations with an opportunity to impact their community by increasing their public policy and public advocacy efforts over the course of three years. During this grant round, the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona received twenty-five (25) applications.

A committee of community volunteers reviewed each application and awarded three grants of up to $30,000 each for the next three years. Community Foundation for Southern Arizona’s awardees work on wide-reaching and diverse public policy goals, including immigration, reducing poverty in our community, and supporting childhood development.

“We are so excited to partner with the Melody S. Robidoux Fund to launch The Policy Project at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona,” said Jenny Flynn, President & CEO of Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. “Our awardees are excited and ready to begin their uniquely designed processes towards invigorating systems change.”
