Are you navigating the legal responsibilities of board members of nonprofit organizations – either as a current board member or a nonprofit employee?
We will discuss the three primary legal duties of board members and how to fulfill those duties through practical examples; conflicts of interest – how to spot them and how to deal with them; and the differences between serving on the board of a nonprofit organization and serving on the board of a for-profit organization, and other related topics.
Board members and nonprofit employees at all levels are welcome to come with questions.
This event will be held via Zoom on April 11 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
