Paul Allvin, Cloud-2-Ground: “Do the Most Good With the Best Brand”
Join us for a very special workshop in the Ask an Expert Series. This featured workshop titled, “Do the Most Good With the Best Brand,” led by national speaker and Tucson-native Paul Allvin, will help you, “harness the power of your nonprofit brand, even on a tight budget.”
An organization’s brand is the basis of every human relationship that sustains it, from donors to volunteers to program partners. But “branding” gets so abstract and confusing that most nonprofit leaders have no time or patience to decipher how to
use their brands to advance their causes, much less measure and report ROI to their stakeholders.
This lively and fun 90-minute clinic will transform brands from mysterious abstractions to easily understood, strategic tools used to advance strategies and missions. Participants will engage in multimedia, interactive exercises (don’t worry – no trust falls), and will have plenty of time for Q&A to answer their burning questions. They will receive take-away tools and techniques they can put to work right away, practicing brand stewardship with the confidence and clarity of bona fide brand experts
The session will take participants through:
• Demystifying “brands” and “branding” – How to understand them, explain them to your boss or board, and actually use them.
• Optimizing your brand – Get in touch with your organization’s core beliefs, its ultimate vision for a better world, and it’s approach to realizing that vision.
• Using your brand as a strategic planning, fundraising, and program
booster – See how your mission, brand, and development functions can operate as one harmonious system through integration into strategic planning.
• Measuring ROI – “No need to define or track brand success metrics. I trust it’s all going as it should,” said no CEO or board chair, ever. Learn how to measure, track, and report success indicators in this quintessentially qualitative area of nonprofit operations.
This clinic will be led by Paul Allvin, veteran brand strategist and unapologetic branding nerd who formed Cloud-2-Ground, with the mission of improving the world we live in by helping nonprofit organizations maximize the impact of their causes by leveraging the power of their brands to the greatest benefit possible.
