Applications for 2021-2022 are now closed.

The Phil and Carol Lyons Family Fund, a donor advised fund of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, opens its 2021-2022 grant round for nonprofit organizations in Tucson and Flagstaff. Proposals must fall within established guidelines; only one application will be accepted per organization and are limited to a maximum of $5,000. 

The grant period is for one year: October 1, 2021 – September 30, 2022.

The Lyons’ family invites nonprofit organizations in Tucson and Flagstaff to submit an application for programs/projects that align with one of the following focus areas:

  1. Programs/projects that help students and adults (especially from minority backgrounds, first-generation, traditionally underrepresented populations, economically disadvantaged, and single mothers) develop career advancement skills and employment opportunities in order to become self-sufficient, create economic opportunity and succeed in life.
  2. Programs/projects that help veterans and their families access services they need in order to thrive.

Applications open on Monday, July 19, 2021; deadline to submit grant applications is Friday, August 20, 2021, at 5pm.
