Nine Southern Arizona Nonprofits Are Recipients of Nearly $1M in 2025 Nonprofit Solar Project Grants

The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA) has announced nine Southern Arizona nonprofit organizations that are recipients of their 2025 Nonprofit Solar Project Grants. They are:

Child and Family Resources, Inc.
Children’s Museum Tucson
Conservation Legacy (Arizona Conservation Corps)
Gospel Rescue Mission
Habitat for Humanity, Tucson, Inc.
Literacy Connects
Live Theatre Workshop
Native Seeds/SEARCH
Southern Arizona Land Trust

Congratulations to these nine deserving organizations, who will be receiving grants totaling $944,609, and special thanks to generous CFSA donors, Tucson Electric Power, and Solar United Neighbors for making this possible. Supported by the CFSA Environmental Sustainability Impact Fund, the Nonprofit Solar Project seeks to help local Pima County nonprofits serving marginalized populations meet their energy needs through solar power. Through the switch to solar, nonprofits will be able to reduce energy costs and their carbon footprints, while freeing up resources to divert to programming and operations costs.
