TUCSON, Ariz., (May 1, 2017) – The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA) announced today that Jennifer Jones, a former CFSA Advancement Officer, will rejoin the organization as Director of Donor Services and Development.
In her new role, Jones will be responsible for leading CFSA’s efforts to serve our number one asset, our donors. In addition, she will work with the Director of Gift Planning, Mary Louise Luna, to help individuals, families and nonprofits build philanthropic legacies now and forever.

She brings over 20 years of experience in developing and executing effective strategies that help donors to achieve greater impact,” said Clint Mabie, CFSA President and CEO. “Jennifer is an experienced community foundation professional, who knows Southern Arizona and how to connect donors to causes they care about. We are looking forward to her leadership in helping donors fulfill their charitable goals.”
Jones brings more than two decades of experience as a nonprofit leader focused on development and growth. She has worked in the community foundation sector for approximately ten years, first at CFSA and then at Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation as the Director of Donor Engagement. Previous to her community foundation experience, Jones had a successful career with the American Lung Association of Arizona, serving first as a Program Director and later as the Executive Director of the Southern Arizona branch. Most recently, she was working as a consultant to nonprofit organizations in the St. Louis area.
Jones is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education from the Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
