The Southern Arizona Nursing Scholarship was established to reduce the financial burden for students seeking an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree in preparation for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
The scholarship awards at least $2,000 annually to recipients and allows recipients to renew for a second year of funding.
Scholarship Criteria
- Accepted into and enrolled in an Associate of Applied Science Nursing program at a Southern Arizona community college.
- Major in nursing.
- Preference given to first-generation college students.
