The Habib Yusif Sabbagh Scholarship was established to support students affected or displaced by conflict in the Middle East. The scholarship awards up to $2,000 to one recipient annually, and recipients may be eligible for a second year of funding.
Scholarship Criteria
- Have graduated (or will graduate this current year) from a Southern Arizona high school at any point or obtained a GED while living within Southern Arizona.
- Preference given to students who have been affected or displaced by conflict in the Middle East.
- Attend either the University of Arizona or Pima Community College.
- Have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
