Celebrate the work of organizations that support and uplift Black and African Americans across Southern Arizona with the African American Legacy Fund!
Join the African American Legacy Fund (AALF), an initiative of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, for a special gathering honoring the 13 organizations awarded funding through AALF’s historic one-time 2026 Rapid Response Grant cycle. A total of $124,000 was invested in organizations advancing opportunity, equity, education, arts and culture, safety, and community well-being for Black and African Americans across Southern Arizona.

- YWCA Southern Arizona
During this evening of connection and celebration, we will honor the organizations whose work strengthens and uplifts Black and African American communities throughout Southern Arizona. Together, we’ll reflect on the power of community-driven philanthropy to strengthen local organizations, respond to emerging challenges, and build a more vibrant future throughout Southern Arizona.
