Leading a nonprofit team has never been simple, and today’s workplace is asking even more of leaders. Shifting employee expectations, increasing workloads, complex team dynamics, and the pressure to retain great people require leaders to think differently about how they communicate, coach, and create healthy workplace cultures.
This interactive session moves beyond simply talking about good leadership practices. Throughout the program, participants will reflect, work through real-world scenarios, connect with peers, and apply concepts directly to their own teams and organizations. Questions and conversation will be encouraged along the way, with dedicated time at the end for deeper discussion and shared learning.
Together, we’ll explore:
- Engaging and retaining strong teams
- Coaching, feedback, and effective communication
- Building psychological safety and navigating conflict
- People-centered leadership and essential HR considerations
Participants will leave with practical tools, fresh perspectives, and ideas they can immediately bring back to their teams, along with insights gained from the experiences of other nonprofit leaders in the room.
