Training Series Overview

Leading with Purpose and Passion is an interactive, six-week leadership development series designed for nonprofit supervisors and managers seeking to strengthen their leadership skills and supervisory practice in today’s complex social services environment. Rooted in emotional intelligence and authentic leadership, the series provides a supportive space for participants to reflect on their values, deepen their self-awareness, and build practical tools for navigating real workplace challenges.

Each session combines expert guidance, interactive exercises, and peer learning to explore a different core topic: leadership identity, organizational culture, supervision, managing up, conflict resolution, and staff engagement. Participants will engage in structured conversations, reflect on their own experiences, complete activities to apply new insights, and exchange feedback in a trusted learning community.

This series goes beyond technical skills to focus on the relational aspects of management – how we build trust, model vulnerability, give and receive feedback, and create environments where teams thrive. Whether you are a new supervisor or a seasoned leader, this experience is designed to help you grow in confidence, clarity, and compassion.

Is this training series right for you?

  • Do you wish you had a safe place to share best practices with other supervisors?
  • Do you want to better understand your leadership style – and how it impacts others?
  • Do you want to lead with more clarity, confidence, and compassion?
  • Are you navigating the challenges of supervision without much formal training?
  • Are you seeking practical strategies for handling conflict with empathy and skill?

If you answer yes to these questions, this program will deliver what you are looking for.
