About Our Presenter

Bringing over 30 years of experience in the field of human resources with her, Sharon Eisenmann relocated to Tucson, Arizona in 2018 and quickly fell in love with the southwest – its people, landscapes and culture.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Sharon spent her first 10 years in Human Resources in the for-profit sector, then transitioned to higher education.  Over the next 25 years, she served as the Chief HR Officer for two Philadelphia area institutions – Gwynedd-Mercy University and Saint Joseph’s University – where she was responsible for strategic Human Resources effectiveness and leadership, including HR information systems, compliance, employee relations, training, organizational design, talent recruitment, onboarding and engagement, recognition and community building events, benefits and compensation administration.

During those years, she served as consultative business partner to university leadership and management teams and led initiatives such as the implementation of market-based compensation programs for faculty and staff and the development of a multi-module management training program.

Sharon is equally committed to her roles as mother and grandmother and cherishes time with her family.  She holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in education and is an avid reader and writer.  She also enjoys hiking, swimming and listening to music.
