About the Presenter:

Kelly Fryer is an educator, entrepreneur and executive, who started her career as an ordained minister and the first Assistant Professor of Leadership at Luther Seminary (St. Paul, MN). After leaving the ministry due to anti-LGBT policies, Kelly co-founded and served as CEO of A Renewal Enterprise and ARE Books, a boutique consultancy and publishing house that trained thousands of leaders and consulted in hundreds of organizations across the U.S. and Canada. She is currently an adjunct faculty member in the University of Arizona’s McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship and president of Kelly Fryer & Associates, LLC, which exists to help mission-driven and nonprofit organizations do “what’s next.” Previously, Kelly served as Executive Director of an organization that works to elect Arizona women to public office and CEO of Southern Arizona’s oldest gender equity and racial justice organization. In 2018, Kelly was a candidate in Arizona’s gubernatorial primary election. She is a Flinn-Brown Fellow.
