As one component of our 2026 brand refresh for CFSA, we commissioned a brand-new painting to greet visitors to our Donor Room, along with gracing a variety of our materials. That is the image above by Mackenzie Robb, entitled "Bloom With Us". The following is her artist's statement regarding the work and the resulting creative process.
"A strong, bold, joyful, and vibrant expression of the Southwest, our community's resilience, and the endless opportunities ahead of all those who cherish Arizona and all that it is.
I have had such an amazing, and honestly therapeutic, time bringing this vision to life through my painting. I wanted this piece to feel warm and welcoming, inviting to all those who view this artwork. I wanted it to feel bold and bright, but cozy and intimate. Most of all, I wanted it to feel like the joy the Arizona desert brings to all those who accept its love.
This painting, truly, brought me so much happiness to create. The whole entire experience and process of incorporating elements together that we discussed was like seeing miscellaneous, individual puzzle pieces on a table and starting the puzzle without even knowing, or rather needing to know, what the overall image was.
I hope that you all love and cherish the piece as much as I do, as each painting I create truly is a labor of love - and labor not in a negative 'work' type of way, but rather that I dedicate my heart and soul into the piece, taking the time and energy to convey emotional messages through my artwork."
