Jenny Flynn

President and CEO

Jenny Flynn leads the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA) as President and CEO, advancing strategic philanthropy, nonprofit resilience, and civic leadership across the region. A long-time Tucsonan who settled here as her adopted home in 1999 after living in six states and four countries, Jenny brings a deeply place-based perspective to CFSA’s work with donors, nonprofits, and community partners. Since joining CFSA in 2021, she has helped expand innovative regional initiatives including the Nonprofit Solar Project, the Solutions-Focused Community Book Club, and Arizona’s only Press Forward chapter, which aims to strengthen and revitalize local news in Southern Arizona. Before joining CFSA, Jenny served Southern Arizona in leadership roles at the University of Arizona Foundation, where she helped raise more than $100 million—an accomplishment that reflects her ability to build trust, mobilize generosity, and align resources with long-term community impact.

Jenny’s earlier career shaped the same commitment to place, learning, and public service that defines her leadership today. She served as a National Park Ranger in Denali National Park and Glacier National Park, taught English as a second language in Spain and Italy and held teaching and lecturer roles at the University of Montana, Sinte Gleska University, and Arizona State University. Across every chapter of her work, Jenny has focused on strengthening participation, expanding opportunity, and helping communities invest in their shared future.
