2025 Impactful Philanthropy BLOOM Award Recipient

Honoring the 2025 BLOOM Award Recipient

The Impactful Philanthropy BLOOM Award celebrates individuals whose giving creates meaningful, measurable, and lasting change in Southern Arizona. Honorees demonstrate a deep commitment to addressing root causes, maximizing resources, and aligning philanthropic efforts with community and environmental goals.

This year, the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona is proud to present the award to Diana Charbonneau, a native Tucsonan and Corporate Learning Facilitator at Tucson Electric Power. Driven by a strong sense of service, Diana has volunteered with over 25 local nonprofits, continually reinvesting her time and energy in the community she calls home.

Diana’s journey into philanthropy and volunteerism began organically, inspired by the support she received throughout her life. As a mother to a five-year-old daughter, she is dedicated to servant leadership and leads by example, showing how everyday acts of kindness can create a lasting impact.

Congratulations to Diana Charbonneau for her inspiring dedication to community, generosity, and leadership. Her commitment is a shining example of impactful philanthropy in action.

I'm incredibly honored to receive this BLOOM award. As a local Tusconan, this community is extremely important to me and I have supported in as many ways possible over the years with much to come. I'm grateful for the mentors that I have had who have led me on this journey of paying it forward. Having a 5-year old little girl, I want to lead by example and show her how a simple act of kindness can create a ripple effect that sometimes lasts a lifetime. Giving out Kindness Coins is something special and I've loved seeing my kiddo culminate the same attitude for being kind.
