We are so grateful for the support we have received from the Hellene Henrikson Fund of the Lutheran Church of the Foothills. Thanks to the grant funding, we are able to create a Chrysalis Recovery Community at our Intensive Outpatient Program and increase access to services. Women who live in the Chrysalis Recovery Community will benefit from supportive housing, emergency food pantry, peer support, and transportation services. As a result, we anticipate more members completing their treatment plan goals successfully and gaining stable housing and employment when discharged from the program. This translates into mothers and children being reunified, a strong workforce for local employers, financial independence and tax revenue generated by women in the workforce, fewer people living on the streets, in parks, and around businesses, as well as prosocial engagement in community, including in faith communities, schools, community centers, and more. We are immensely grateful for the support and partnership of the Hellene Henrikson Fund of the Lutheran Church of the Foothills.

Receiving the Hellene Henrikson Fund grant allows our organization to support a larger number of critical classroom projects related to behavioral health needs. Our teachers and administrators are seeing increased stress and anxiety in our students since the pandemic, resulting in the need for innovative strategies to help our students while in the classroom. This grant allows us to help address these needs in a larger capacity than would have otherwise. This grant will help thousands of students over many years in our community.
