Thank you so much to all who attended the 2023 Reimagining Nonprofit Boards Conference, hosted by the Center for Healthy Nonprofits and the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona!
This event brought together over 150 nonprofit professionals including Executive Directors/CEOs, Board Members/Trustees, and potential Board Members for a day of collaboration and learning on how to make nonprofit boards more effective, cohesive, and impactful.
CFSA and the Center for Healthy Nonprofits were honored to welcome presenters Vu Le, Domonic Rollins, Susan Decker, and Joan Garry to Tucson, who spoke about DEI, how to build a diverse board, building strong partnerships between boards and nonprofit staff, and the joy of serving on a nonprofit board.
We have received an overwhelming response to this event, and we look forward to hosting many more in the future!

This was an incredible program with incredible speakers. Thank you so much!
This was amazing, relevant, timely, and needed. Reimagining boards makes so much sense. Great vision by the planners of this event.
I thought a lot of valuable information was packed into a very well organized and intentional schedule. We covered a lot, but the sessions flowed efficiently, and were very informative.
Outstanding program. I was very impressed and appreciative of all the speakers, as well as the quality and candor of the dialogue.
Well-paced with several wonderful speakers that delivered thought provoking and stimulating presentations. It was a full house of amazing, charitable, and generous organizations that make me even more proud of my hometown.
We'll be sharing info with our board president and vice president--trying to see how we can put into play some of this excellent advice. We already re-structured our board meeting next week to include a longer programmatic discussion piece and pushed other business to later in the meeting.
The timing of this conference and the ideas were great. We're finalizing the pillars of our new Strategic Plan, and one of those pillars is around governance and the board overall....so the timing was good.
