CFSA’s 2023 Civic Leadership Award and Buddy Amos Award Now Accepting Nominations

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2023 Buddy Amos Founders Award and the 2023 Civic Leadership Award!


2023 Buddy Amos Founders Award
Founded in 2015, this award was established in honor of George H. “Buddy” Amos Jr., a CFSA Founder, for his vision and ability to inspire.

Nominees are recognized as the Founder(s) of a nonprofit organization based in Southern Arizona who has demonstrated inspirational leadership in the areas of community service, philanthropy, mentoring, collaboration, and/or systems change that reaches beyond the organization.

The recipient will be honored at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona’s Annual Event in April 2023.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, November 9, 2022, by 5:00 PM MST.

2023 Civic Leadership Award
Since 2016, CFSA’s Civic Leadership Award has honored members of our community who have gone above and beyond to make Southern Arizona a more inclusive and welcoming place to live.

Nominees must live in Southern Arizona and have inspired others through either their work, volunteerism, or advocacy efforts with diverse or underrepresented communities. This work is not limited to those serving through nonprofit organizations.

The recipient will be honored at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona’s Annual Event in April 2023.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, November 9, 2022, by 5:00 PM MST.
