CFSA is excited to welcome their newest staff member, David Gardner, serving as Program Manager, Grants + Initiatives in the Community Investments department.
As the Program Manager for Grants and Initiatives, David Gardner oversees a variety of CFSA community initiatives and grant processes. Originally from Denver, CO, David is currently finishing his Master’s of Public Affairs in Nonprofit Management at Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!) in Bloomington, IN.
He is extremely excited to move out to Tucson this summer! He is also very excited to bring a data and program evaluation background to his work at CFSA. Prior to CFSA, David served in the Peace Corps in Ecuador as a Teaching English as a Second Language volunteer.
Fun Facts:
- David likes to spend his free time outdoors whenever possible, whether it is hiking, birding, playing tennis, cycling, grilling, or simply spending time with friends and family. He also loves to travel and visit new places.
- His favorite foods are all things Mexican, including various forms of street tacos.
- His favorite musical artist is Kacey Musgraves whom he was fortunate enough to see live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2019.
