In partnership with our generous donors and supporters, the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona has awarded more than $2.2 million in COVID-19 relief funding to 160 nonprofits over the last six months.
Funding has provided essential food assistance and supplies to healthcare workers, laptops so students can continue to learn and safe childcare options so frontline teachers can continue to work. Hundreds of families have received housing and rental assistance, and local nonprofits have been able to innovate and adapt and continue providing critical services to our community.
In addition, through our partnership with the City of Tucson’s Mayor and Council, CFSA has awarded nearly $443,000 in We Are One | Somos Uno CARES Act Nonprofit Continuity Grants.
