Dana Zepke, Moderator
Dana Zepke is a Human Resources professional with almost a decade of experience in HR operations, benefits administration, compensation analysis, and aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. She has a proven track record of optimizing HR processes, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and driving employee engagement through wellness initiatives and training programs. Dana holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Arizona and is certified as a Human Resource Professional (SHRM-CP). Her expertise spans policy development, HR compliance, and HRIS administration. Outside of her professional achievements, Dana enjoys spending time between Tucson and Pinetop-Lakeside where she spends her free time hiking, mountain biking, and adventuring with her husband and their dog, Millie.
Chant’is Larned, Training Coordinator, Gospel Rescue Mission
Chant’is Larned has been a thought leader with over 20 years of experience with implementing dynamic processes and shifting internal cultures as a Human Resources Generalist, Behavioral Health Technician, Creative Director, Life Coach, Worship Leader and Pastor. Chant’is has a heart for the overlooked and unappreciated. She has worked at Gospel Rescue Mission since 2019 in multiple capacities most recently spearheaded the effort to revitalize and streamline the onboarding process. She is sure excel in her new role on the GRM Team as Training Coordinator. One of her first tasks will be to revive ongoing personal and professional development by strategically implanting concise training paths. Chant’is has a passion for spending time with her friends, family, exploring Route 66 with her husband, and sampling local cuisine along the way.
Emily Chavez, Owner, Joyful Jobs
Emily Chavez began her recruiting career in 2016 with a rapidly expanding charter school, tasked with the significant challenge of hiring several hundred teachers annually. By July 2021, amid the hiring difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the Great Resignation, Emily found herself ready for a career shift. Knowing the lack of affordable recruitment services for small businesses and nonprofits, she was inspired to launch Joyful Jobs, a recruiting agency serving the “underdogs” with flexible, affordable, and personalized hiring solutions. Since then, Joyful Jobs has successfully partnered with over 60 nonprofits and small businesses, helping them secure nearly 100 exceptional employees. In her spare time, you can find Emily spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling, horseback riding, skiing, camping, playing sports when she gets the chance, or getting away to Sonoita for a day of wine tasting.
Alisa Transue, Administrative and Operations Manager, Social Venture Partners Tucson
With over 18 years of expertise in administrative management and strategic operations, Alisa plays a crucial role in shaping organizational processes. She is instrumental in implementing policies, onboarding new employees, and supporting the Board of Directors and various SVP programs. Alisa is certified with the Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence from the American Society of Administrative Professionals.
