Nonprofit Leaders and Key Community Advocates are encouraged to join a virtual conversation with Dr. Jason R. Jurjevich, School of Geography, University of Arizona, to discuss Arizona’s Hard-to-Count (HTC) populations and opportunities for census engagement, a brief update on census operational changes due to COVID-19, and Census 2020 participation across Southern Arizona.
Census data impact the day-to -day lives of every American, from the school your child attends to the roads you take to work; yet,, numerous social and political challenges are making it difficult to secure a fair and accurate count in Census 2020.
Dr. Jurjevich is a population geographer and director of the Census 20/20 Project.
