Night Bloom Grants for artists

MOCA Tucson’s 2023 Night Bloom: Grants for Artist is Now Open!

Brought to you by the MOCA Tucson and in partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Night Bloom: Grants for Artists invites individual artists and artists groups within Tucson and Sonoran Desert region to apply for this year’s round of funding. Grants in amounts ranging from $5,000-$7,500 will be awarded to support efforts to create experimental and community-embedded opportunities for artistic exchange that engage with the region’s unique contexts and possibilities.

Eligible applications will be evaluated by panelists based on the following criteria:

  • Collaboration
  • Experimental Approaches
  • Planning for Access
  • Regional Specificity

Eligibility Requirements
• Projects must be based in Pima County
• Project should include strong visual arts focus to engage, activate, and share with their audience(s).
• Projects must be accessible to the public.

Important Dates
• Application opens: March 6, 2023
• Application deadline: April 20, 2023
• Notification of grant award by: June 9, 2023
• Grant funds disbursed: June – July 2023
• Grant funded activities: July 2023 – June 2024
