Announcing CFSA’s 2019-2020 Board of Trustees

The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA) is pleased to announce that Claudia Jasso was elected Chair of the CFSA Board of Trustees during its recent trustees’ meeting. As Managing Partner at Jasso Development & Planning, Claudia brings a wealth of experience to this role. She is a strong advocate for racial equity and has spearheaded efforts aimed at changing cultural climates as the Founder of the Latino Community Fund and an active member of Hispanics in Philanthropy’s national Latino Trustee Circle.

CFSA is also pleased to announce two new members to the Board of Trustees. The new additions include President of Styne Hill & Associates, Styne Hill, and Assistant Vice President for Government Affairs and Community Partnerships at the University of Arizona, Ethan Orr.

“On behalf of CFSA, I am delighted to welcome the new members of the Board of Trustees into a dedicated group of community leaders,” said President and CEO Clint Mabie. “CFSA’s Board of Trustees oversees the Foundation’s growing community endowment and ensures that donors’ intentions are honored now and forever. With their diverse perspectives, abilities, dedication, and commitment to the community, these individuals will help us continue to make southern Arizona a better place for all.”

The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona has been fortunate to have an extremely dedicated and talented Board of Trustees to further our mission and create greater impact.

CFSA board and staff would like to thank Jan Lesher for her exceptional leadership as Board Chair over the last two years. An accomplished public servant and community leader, Jan leveraged her diverse experience to offer strategic guidance during a period of significant growth and transition at CFSA.

In addition, three long-serving Trustees completed their terms of service with CFSA in June 2019. Impressively, they have a combined 25 years of board service with the Foundation to their credit. CFSA staff and board wish to extend our appreciation to the following outgoing Trustees for their dedication and commitment:
