Stone Canyon Community Foundation has been a steadfast supporter of EEF, and their generosity helps EEF continue to support the 30,000+ K-12 students in TUSD who qualify for free/reduced meals. Last year, SCCF's grant provided interscholastic scholarships for over 160 middle school students to participate in sports alongside their more affluent peers, thereby improving their confidence and overall physical and mental health.

— Dawn Bell, Executive Director, Educational Enrichment Foundation

The Stone Canyon Community Foundation grant will allow the Kelly Early Education Center to expand and enhance its services, providing greater access to high-quality early childhood education for families who might not otherwise be able to afford it. This funding will help to ensure that children receive the support they need to thrive, both academically and socially, and will help to build a stronger, more resilient community as a result. We are humbled to receive this grant and honored to call Stone Canyon Community Foundation a partner!

— Favin Gebremariam, Vice President of Development and Public Relations, Casa de los Niños

The Stone Canyon Community Foundation is directly impacting our goal to increase the practice of intentional kindness, improving school climate and learning outcomes with a multi-tiered approach at 3 high-need schools in South Tucson. The Stone Canyon Community Foundation truly believes in the power of systematic neighborhood change, and we are humbled by their generosity that will directly impact over 1,200 students.”

— Autumn Rentmeester, Director of Development and Outreach, Ben's Bells Project

Thanks to the generous continuing support of the Stone Canyon Community Foundation, our school can continue our Social and Emotional Development Program in partnership with Playformance, a play-based fitness gym near our school. Our Playformance days give our scholars needed physical exercise and fun but also provides them the tools needed to develop leadership and teamwork skills, alongside learning the value of sportsmanship. The program also places an emphasis on body positivity, something every one of our middle school students can benefit from immediately and into the future.

— Cameron Taylor, Head of School, Imago Dei Middle School
