Self-Care for Leaders

We will spend time together examining how incorporating self-care into our work makes us a stronger leader and our organization more productive and positive. Participants will learn tools to create a plan to begin the work of self-care for themselves as well as how to be an ambassador for self-care with those they lead.

About the Presenter:

Beth Morrison recently left the nonprofit CEO seat after serving as a CEO for the past 25 years, with the last 5 of those at Our Family Services here in Tucson. For over 30 years, Beth concentrated her career on the issues of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. Her expertise is derived from having worked as a counselor, advocate, community educator, clinical supervisor, shelter manager and finally as an administrator. Beth has had the opportunity to work in both urban and rural settings as well as the Navajo Nation, with immigrant and refugee populations and other diverse settings.

Beth is a graduate of Central Michigan University and the University of Arizona. Additionally, Beth completed the Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders at Stanford University. Beth is a certified professional coach, a certified positive psychology and well-being coach, and a Lifecycles Capacity Consultant. She is also a certified Interim Nonprofit CEO.
