Whether you work remotely 100% of the time or find yourself navigating this situation for the very first time, working at a physical distance can pose a unique set of challenges.

We’ll first walk through some basics to get you oriented within Slack, and then quickly introduce best practices tailored to remote work situations. We’ll highlight specific tactics within Slack that you can put into practice right away, or bring back to your team.

Note: Slack is free for nonprofits with 250 or fewer staff, through the Slack for Nonprofits program.

You should attend if:

  • You’re trying to set up virtual communications for your organization
  • You need a space where your constituents can chat with your team or with each other

You want creative ideas to keep you (and your team) positive & connected while virtual
