Session III: How Do We Move
Using Reflection & Dialogue to Lead Inclusively
Conversation is the smallest seed of change – it is the beginning and end of action. Without conversation, little progress is made in developing understanding or sharing perspectives. Every leader must be equipped with the skills to facilitate conversation, especially in service of inclusive leadership. This session will focus on nonprofit leaders on the basics of dialogue and facilitation skills. With a specific focus on dialogical questions and reflection as a tool of inquiry, this session will aid nonprofit leaders in harnessing stories and experience for action within their spheres of influence.
This session will be held via Zoom on June 21, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM.

With a specific focus on creating conditions where marginalized people can thrive, Domonic aids leaders and organizations in engaging in difficult conversations about race, identity, and difference. He has served as the inaugural Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at The Dalton School located in New York City.
