The African American Legacy Fund (AALF), a fund of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA), is excited to launch its 2023 Grant Round and is pleased to announce a two-year, unrestricted, funding commitment for prospective grantees. Applications open on Monday, January 16, 2023 and will be accepted through Monday, February 20, 2023 at 5:00 pm MST.
Since 2015, the African American Legacy Fund, a fund of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, has awarded $275,000 to nonprofit organizations serving the Black and/or African American community in Southern Arizona. This year the fund is transitioning to multi-year, unrestricted, funding for the first time in its history.
A virtual informational session covering AALF’s grantmaking priorities, application guidelines, and more is scheduled for Wednesday, January 11th, 2023 at 4:30 PM.
