105-year-old Santa Cruz Church needs funds for roof repair, updated wiring

This October, we’re raising funds for a historic church—one of Tucson’s historic landmarks, and an important cultural landmark for the Southside community—Santa Cruz Catholic Church. The 105-year-old building is on the National Register of Historic Places, but is in urgent need of repairs and electrical upgrades.

Pat Parris spearheads “The Giving Project – Doing Well, by Doing Good” in partnership with the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. The first week of each month Pat presents a new nonprofit organization that is making a positive impact in our community and asks you to consider making a donation. Even $5 or $10 will make a difference for those in need.

In addition, the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona is matching the first $500 in donations each month. If you cannot give, you can still support our nonprofit community by sharing information about the project.
