The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA) has partnered with Pima County to create a better Southern Arizona for all.
Housing insecurity is one of Southern Arizona’s most visible challenges. According to the City of Tucson, the overall number of people experiencing homelessness on any given night in Pima County rose by 60% – from 2018 to 2023.

Looking for agencies supporting those in need? Pima County recommends starting with the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona! Since 1980, CFSA has granted more than $260 million to local nonprofit organizations and educational institutions in the community.
CFSA has collective community giving funds called Impact Funds that serve urgent and emerging needs of at-risk and/or vulnerable community members, including a Housing Impact Fund that supports programs and organizations that address housing insecurity and homelessness. (Click the link above to contribute to this fund.) These collective funds are then pooled and granted out to support areas such as local shelters, cooling stations, family support programs, home repair, rental assistance and more.
