Center for Healthy Nonprofits Accepting Applications for Two Capacity Building Programs

The Center for Healthy Nonprofits, a program of CFSA, is now accepting applications for their CEO/ED Survival Series and Achieving Your Nonprofit Career Goals series.

Each program is hosted by Patti Caldwell and Paula Van Ness, both drawing upon decades of experience as nonprofit CEOs. While majority of the costs for both series have been covered by the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, Tucson Foundations, and potentially other funders, there is a $450 co-pay to participate in each series. Please note that scholarships are available.

The 9-session Survival Series for newer nonprofit EDs and CEOs is designed to provide practical information about the roles, responsibilities, and skills of well-rounded and successful CEOs/EDs and senior leaders. Melissa Hosten, CEO/ED Survival Series Participant, shared, “When I saw the opportunity for the survival series I hoped it could help me understand nonprofits in the broader sense, and help me think more like a CEO than an educational leader. I’ve gained all of that and more. I’m beyond grateful for this series and all that the Center has done.”

The 7-session series on Achieving Your Nonprofit Career Goals is designed for leaders who report to a nonprofit ED or CEO, and for leaders who are exploring the possibility of serving as a nonprofit ED or CEO in the future or aspire to a senior leadership career in the sector.
