The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Alliance Fund, a fund of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, is now accepting proposals for its next grant round from nonprofit organizations in southern Arizona; applications will be accepted through February 21, 2020. Proposals must fall within established guidelines and funding priority areas and are limited to a maximum request of $5,000. However, in rare instances, when an organization can amply demonstrate that their agency or programs will have an extraordinary impact on the LGBTQ+ community, the Alliance Fund may consider awarding grants up to $10,000.
The Alliance Fund has become known for making grants available at critical times during the development of an organization’s infrastructure. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, over the last 20 years the Alliance Fund has been able to distribute more than $873,397 to support over 182 projects.
