The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA) is seeking an Assistant for the Philanthropic Services Department. The position reports to the Director of Planned Giving, Philanthropic Services.
The purpose of this position is to provide the highest level of a broad variety of administrative support to the Philanthropic Services Department. The Philanthropic Services Assistant serves as a point of contact for donors and provides individual assistance as needed. The Philanthropic Services Assistant also works collaboratively with the Community Investments and Finance Department staff to enhance interdepartmental processes as needed.
She/he must have excellent communication (oral and written) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with donors and other key constituents of CFSA including professional advisors such as estate planning attorneys and financial planners. The position also is responsible for updating marketing materials, executing mailings, preparing for meetings and taking minutes, processing gifts, managing a prospect list, and event planning.
