TUCSON, Ariz. (April 9, 2018) – Adopt Love Adopt Local, an initiative of the Pima Alliance for Animal Welfare (PAAW),  is hosting its fourth mega-adoption animal fair at the West Hall of the Tucson Expo Center on Saturday, April 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Last year, more than 2,000 open-hearted people attended the event, ensuring more than 150 animals found their forever homes. Grateful pets included 56 dogs, 50 puppies, 10 cats, and 9 kittens.

“In our community, thousands of animals find themselves in need of a loving family every year. By creating a family-friendly opportunity for Southern Arizonans to connect with local organizations, we will give these animals a second chance at finding love and happiness, while celebrating the human-animal bond,” said Sandra Nathan, Senior Vice President of Philanthropic Services and Community Investments at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona.

The mega-adoption will include hundreds of pets of all shapes, colors, sizes, breeds, ages and backgrounds as well as entertainment and demonstrations by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and Tucson Police Department K-9 units, Tucson Canine Freestyle and Saguaro Scramblers Agility Club.

Date: Saturday, April 14
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Location: West Hall of the Tucson Expo Center, 3750 E. Irvington Rd.
