Join us for a session that will identify key ways your communications strategy can lift your organization’s profile and help you raise more money.

You’ll learn how the Vera Institute for Justice invested in communications – and convinced grantmakers to do same – tripling the size of its communications department and leading to growth in online supporters, revenue, and programs.

Together the institute’s vice president for communications and its digital strategy director will explain how they revamped the organization’s online presence, updated its digital outreach, and helped stoke a national conversation about improving the criminal justice system in the United States. They’ll offer strategies you can use to make similar strides, including garnering financial support for communications, building a bigger and more active online community, raising awareness of your work, and, ultimately, attracting more revenue to expand your programs and your impact.

You’ll also hear directly from a former New York Times reporter and senior vice president for communications at Say Yes to Education, an organization that is taking its programs to communities across the country to make a college or other post-secondary scholarship available to every public-high-school graduate.
