Nonprofit leaders are encouraged to take a couple of minutes to update the CFSA mailing list and verify their contact information here. An updated contact list helps CFSA connect donors and nonprofit organizations, and is especially important right now because in the next few months, several initiatives are rolling out—all of which will benefit nonprofits across Southern Arizona.
AZ Gives Day. Based on similar projects around the country that have brought in millions of dollars to local nonprofits in a 24 hour period, AZ Gives Day is March 20, 2013. Arizonans will come together to raise as much money as possible online for our state’s nonprofits. To ensure success, we will offer no-cost training sessions to help you develop and build your organization’s marketing and fundraising capacity. The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona is partnering with Arizona Grantmakers Forum and the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits to bring AZ Gives Day to Arizona.
Southern Arizona Indicators. At http://southern.arizonaindicators.org/ you will find a wide array of data to assist your organization in making more informed decisions and advocating for your work. We are partnering with the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits to provide training in which you’ll not only learn how to use the site, but how to use data more effectively. The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona and United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona are partners in bringing this service to you.
