The Santa Cruz Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, is pleased to announce that it will be conducting a grant round to support nonprofit organizations serving people living in the local area. A total of $40,000 is available and requests up to $5,000 will be considered.
“We are interested in supporting some of the wonderful programs that are taking place here in the county,” said Sabrina Hallman, Chair of the Santa Cruz Community Foundation Board. “The grants committee is looking forward to reading proposals and conducting site visits to learn more.”
The guidelines are available on line at www.cfsaz.org/santacruz. Deadline for submission is May 16, 2014 by 4:30 PM at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona’s office located at 2250 E. Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85719.
A two-hour workshop open to all potential applicants will be held May 6, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Santa Cruz County Complex in Nogales, 2150 N. Congress Drive, second floor, Courtroom A.
